In the past few months, Mr. Dang Le Nguyen Vu has surprised the car enthusiasts by continuously driving many JDM (Japanese Domestic Market) cars – produced for the domestic market of Japan – which are unique. This has been the new hobby of the Chairman of Trung Nguyen Corporation in the past year.
However, these days, Mr. Vu is not driving any JDM cars. Instead, he is driving the supercars that he hunted down last year. Specifically, today, February 18, 2024, he selected a Ferrari 488 GTB to accompany him on the streets of Saigon.
This is one of the three Ferrari 488 GTB supercars that Mr. Dang Le Nguyen Vu acquired in 2023 and had only driven on the 9th day of the Lunar New Year. This supercar is beautifully painted in white with contrasting black details.
Aside from this Ferrari 488 GTB, Mr. Vu also hunted down two other supercars of the same model, but with the original red paint wrapped in black.
The Ferrari 488 GTB that Mr. Dang Le Nguyen Vu is driving has a black interior with red stitching. It has many carbon details and a small screen mounted on the dashboard, displaying the speed and RPM of the car. The Ferrari 488 GTB has been discontinued, and the successor is the Ferrari F8 Tributo, of which over 6 cars have been imported to Vietnam, not to mention the convertible version.
The Ferrari 488 GTB uses a twin-turbo V8 engine with a displacement of 3.9 liters, producing a maximum power of 661 horsepower at 8,000 RPM and a maximum torque of 760 Nm at 3,000 RPM.
Combined with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission, the Ferrari 488 GTB only takes about 3 seconds to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h, before reaching a top speed of 330 km/h.
