Ford Ranger Stormtrak features an attractive appearance and many outstanding features, promising to reinforce the “king of pickup trucks” position of the Ranger in Vietnam.

Recently, Ford dealers nationwide have announced that they are accepting deposits for the new Ranger Stormtrak model. According to information from sales staff, the car will be launched in Vietnam in early March this year with 2 versions: 4×2 and 4×4. The specific price of this version has not been revealed yet, but it is sure to be higher than the 864 million VND price of the Sport 2.0 4×4 version.

Ford Ranger Stormtrak was launched in Thailand in March last year with 2 versions and a price range of 1.264 – 1.399 million baht, equivalent to 865 – 958 million VND. This is a version that sits between the Wildtrak and Raptor in the Ford Ranger lineup.

In terms of exterior, the Ford Ranger Stormtrak stands out from the regular versions through several highlighted points such as new LED auxiliary lights on the X-shaped grille, Stormtrak nameplate on the cargo door, black Ranger letters on the hood, and new 20-inch alloy wheels. The paint color options include Arctic White, Meteor Gray, Absolute Black, and Sedona Orange. In addition, the car is also equipped with a sports bar with sliding rails.

In terms of interior, the cabin space of the 2023 Ford Ranger Stormtrak has a sporty design. The dashboard and door trims have many details of leather wrapping combined with black paint and bold red stitching for a sporty feel. The back of the front seats is also embroidered with the word “Stormtrak”.

The standard equipment of the car includes: 8-way power-adjustable front seats, steering wheel with integrated function buttons, 12.4-inch digital instrument cluster, vertically-oriented 12-inch central touch screen with integrated SYNC 4A entertainment information system, wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto support and voice control.

In addition, the car also has auto-dimming rearview mirrors, USB ports, interior lighting system, wireless phone charging, dual-zone automatic air conditioning, rear seat air vents, 4 USB ports, 6-speaker sound system, 12V and 230V (400W) power outlets, electronic parking brake, and similar electronic gear selector to the Wildtrak version.

In terms of safety equipment, the 2023 Ford Ranger Stormtrak owns an active safety package ADAS along with features such as ventilated disc brakes on all 4 wheels, 7 airbags, front/rear parking sensors, 360-degree camera, ABS anti-lock braking system, electronic brake force distribution, electronic stability control, hill start assist, hill descent control and vehicle rollover mitigation, automatic emergency braking system, pedestrian detection, forward collision warning, automatic post-collision braking, lane departure warning, blind spot warning, cross traffic alert when reversing, collision prevention when reversing, evasive steering assist, adaptive cruise control, and automated parking assist.

Providing power for the 2023 Ford Ranger Stormtrak is a dual-turbo 4-cylinder 2.0L diesel engine, similar to the Wildtrak version. This engine produces a maximum power of 210 horsepower and a maximum torque of 500 Nm. It is accompanied by a 10-speed automatic transmission and either 1 or 2 drivetrains.
