Recently, there has been a listing on the used car market for a 2014 McLaren 650S Spider.

The car is being sold for over 7 billion VND. This supercar was brought into Vietnam in 2016 through a private import unit.

Previously, the car belonged to “coffee king” Dang Le Nguyen Vu, then to Nghiem Duc – the ex-husband of hot girl Diep Lam Anh, and now, after changing hands several times, the car is in Hanoi.

The original McLaren 650S was painted in a bold orange color called Volcano Orange Elite. After going through multiple owners, the McLaren 650S Spider has been repainted in various colors such as white, green, pink… and currently it has returned to a light orange color.

The McLaren 650S Spider has a sporty and aggressive appearance, with a simple front design featuring two large air intakes accompanied by the brand’s signature fishhook-shaped headlights, typical of British supercars.

On the other hand, the rear of the car leaves an impression with a taillight cluster consisting of two parallel LED strips. The spoiler can be automatically raised/lowered when the car is in operation, accompanied by a relatively sleek and angular diffuser underneath.

The car is equipped with 19-inch double-spoke wheels, with red brake calipers and a ceramic-carbon braking system. Initially, these wheels were painted in two contrasting shades – light and dark, but now they have been completely repainted in black.

The original exhaust system of the car has been replaced with an exhaust from the Innotech Performance Exhaust brand – a familiar brand in Vietnam. According to sources, the value of this new exhaust system exceeds 300 million VND.

This British supercar also features many carbon fiber details such as front splitters, rear diffusers, mirror caps, etc. The hood is also made of the same material, but it has been modified and shaped with faux air intakes to enhance the sporty look of the car.

Despite changing owners several times, the cabin of this McLaren 650S Spider still retains its predominantly black color, with orange accents on the edges and stitching. Many positions inside the car are also adorned with carbon fiber, such as the steering wheel, paddle shifters, dashboard, etc.

Providing power for the McLaren 650S is a twin-turbocharged V8 engine with a displacement of 3.8 liters, producing a power output of 641 horsepower and a torque of 680 Nm. The power is transmitted to the rear wheels through a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission, enabling the car to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 3 seconds before reaching a top speed of 328 km/h.

At the time of its release 6-7 years ago, the McLaren 650S Spider was priced at around 16 billion VND in Vietnam.
