According to Autoindustriya, Mitsubishi Motors Krama Yudha Indonesia (MMKI) is currently busy producing the XForce model for export markets. In fact, MMKI has already started exporting the XForce to international markets. A commemorative event was recently held at the Tanjung Priok port with the participation of officials from the Indonesian and Japanese governments, as well as from Mitsubishi.
The first market to receive the XForce will be Vietnam, a country that recently launched its all-new B-SUV model in January 2024. The crossover model will then be gradually introduced to other ASEAN countries such as the Philippines, followed by South Asia, Latin America, the Middle East, and Africa.
In the Vietnamese market, Mitsubishi XForce is distributed in 4 versions: GLX, Exceed, Premium, and Ultimate, with prices starting from 620 million Vietnamese dong.
Mitsubishi XForce features an impressive exterior, showcasing the characteristics of an SUV design with the concept of Smooth & Solid. The upper body is optimized aerodynamically. The lower body is muscular and powerful thanks to the muscular wheel arches.
The Dynamic Shield design language has been improved at the front to match the overall appearance of the vehicle: the front bumper on both sides of the grille has a sense of depth. The daytime running lights with an “L” shape and the light-cutting lines in the shape of a “T” highlight the distinctive image of the XForce.
The XForce has a total length of 4,390 mm – leading the segment. The ground clearance is 222 mm, also leading the segment, and uses 18-inch wheels and tires.
Moving inside, the interior of the XForce is quite well-equipped and considered spacious, leading the segment. A noteworthy highlight is the mélange fabric material that covers various areas of the center console. Mélange provides a luxurious feel, especially with good dirt resistance, making it easy to clean dirt stains with just ordinary paper towels.
The front seats are spacious with shoulder supports that provide a comfortable feeling. The seats are designed to reduce motion for passengers, ensuring comfort at all times.
The rear seats are specially focused on, with ample legroom that leads the segment, even when three passengers are seated, they still feel comfortable.
The 3-spoke steering wheel is integrated with multifunctional control buttons, allowing convenient operation and vehicle control.
In terms of convenience features, the XForce has a large 12.3-inch infotainment screen, combined with an 8-inch digital information display for a intuitive interface. Notably, for the first time, the XForce is equipped with the Yamaha Premium Dynamic Sound system, the result of collaboration between Mitsubishi Motors and the Yamaha Corporation.
The XForce is equipped with a continuously variable transmission (CVT) combined with a 1.5L MIVEC engine, providing strong and smooth acceleration, while also being fuel-efficient.
