During his trip to Sweden to retrieve his Koenigsegg Regera after nearly two years of repairs, tycoon Hoang Kim Khanh had the opportunity to drive this supercar on the runway.
Recently, tycoon Hoang Kim Khanh shared on social media a series of photos and videos documenting his visit to the Koenigsegg factory and the handover of his Regera in Sweden. As previously reported, the multimillion-dollar supercar owned by tycoon Hoang Kim Khanh had to stay in the West for nearly 2 years for inspection and repairs, costing nearly $365,627 (over VND 8.9 billion).
Notably, during this trip, tycoon Hoang Kim Khanh and his wife had the opportunity to experience driving the Koenigsegg Regera on the runway.
The Koenigsegg Regera features a twin-turbocharged 5.0L V8 engine that produces 1,100 horsepower. It is also equipped with 3 electric motors, bringing the total power output of the car to 1,500 horsepower. As a result, the car can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.8 seconds and reach a top speed of 400 km/h. From the video, it can be seen that the owner is satisfied when pushing the pedal down of his multimillion-dollar Koenigsegg Regera.
In addition to its powerful performance, the Koenigsegg Regera also boasts an impressive and distinctive design feature: its characteristic 180-degree “dihedral synchro-helix” doors, which set it apart from other sports cars. Furthermore, the Regera does not use a conventional gearbox. The transmission system is based on a direct drive structure called Direct Drive, which reduces energy loss by 50% compared to traditional transmissions.
It is known that the Regera is a rare masterpiece, with only 80 units produced worldwide. To be able to register and drive it in Vietnam, it is estimated that the owner has to spend between 120 and 250 billion VND.
