With a new design and a range of modern features added inside the interior cabin, the Hyundai Creta 2024 has quickly gained attention from customers.

On January 16th, the upgraded version of the Hyundai Creta was officially launched worldwide. According to the company’s plan, the Creta 2024 will be first available in the Indian market, and then quickly expand distribution to other countries worldwide.

From the first day of its launch, the Hyundai Creta quickly attracted the attention of Indian customers. Dealerships have stated that customers who choose to buy this crossover model will have to wait for up to 7 months to receive their cars, as the number of orders now exceeds the factory’s supply capacity. Specifically, the manual version of the Creta 2024 has a waiting period of 5 months, the automatic version has a waiting period of 7 months, and the diesel engine version has a waiting period ranging from 4 to 5 months.

As confirmed by the company, the Creta model has surpassed the milestone of one million cars sold in the Indian market within 8 years. This means that on average, there is one Hyundai Creta delivered to customers every 5 minutes. The increasing number of Creta 2024 orders has put the company in an overloaded situation.

In India, the Hyundai Creta 2024 is available in 7 variants with prices ranging from 1.1 to 2 million Rupees (~324 – 590 million VND). Although it is only an upgraded version, the new Creta has a design that is almost completely different from the previous version, along with a range of modern features added inside the interior cabin.

This is most clearly shown in the front area of the car with a large rectangular-shaped grille and a center air intake. Next is the new 2-tier headlight system with LED daytime running lights on the top, while the main headlights are located on the bottom. In addition, the LED daytime positioning lights are designed horizontally on the front of the car.

In the rear area of the car, the Hyundai Creta 2024 is equipped with a new taillight cluster with an “L” shape inside and extends horizontally across the tailgate, similar to the front of the car. The rear bumper comes with a dark silver trim, giving a sporty look to this crossover model.

Inside, the Creta 2024 features a modern interior cabin with highlights such as a digital instrument cluster and a 10.25-inch touchscreen center display, connected together as a cluster on the dashboard. Other notable features include power-adjustable seats, an air filtration system, an electronic parking brake, a Bose sound system, 2-step adjustable backrests and headrests for the rear seats, and sun blinds.

Not stopping there, the Hyundai Creta 2024 also received upgrades in terms of safety technology. The car is equipped with an active safety system called ADAS with 19 features such as emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, and lane-keeping assistance. As a result, the car has the ability to drive at Level 2 autonomous driving. It is also equipped with 6 airbags, a 360-degree camera, blind-spot warning, tire pressure monitoring system, 4-wheel disc brakes, and electronic stability control.

In India, the Hyundai Creta 2024 is available with 3 different engine options. Among them, there is a new engine shared with the Hyundai Accent, which is a turbocharged 1.5L 4-cylinder petrol engine with a maximum power of 160 horsepower. The engine is paired with either a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission or a manual transmission.

The other two engine options are the same as the previous version. The first one is a naturally aspirated 1.5L 4-cylinder petrol engine with a maximum power of 115 horsepower. The second one is a diesel engine with the same cylinder capacity and maximum power as the petrol engine mentioned above. These two engines are combined with a 6-speed manual transmission, a 6-speed automatic transmission, or a IVT continuously variable automatic transmission.
