Hybrid models are now not only popular among customers when buying mainstream cars, but also Porsche’s hybrid sales have increased dramatically in many markets. Therefore, the German automaker has recently introduced two new hybrid versions for the Panamera sedan, including the Panamera 4 E-Hybrid and Panamera 4S E-Hybrid. It is expected that the company will soon launch the Turbo S E-Hybrid version.

Both new hybrid models of the Porsche Panamera 2024 are equipped with a 2.9-liter V6 engine, producing 300 horsepower on the standard E-Hybrid version and increasing to 348 horsepower on the S E-Hybrid version. The total power/traction generated on these two versions is 463 horsepower/650 Nm and 536 horsepower/750 Nm, respectively.

Compared to similar versions in the predecessor model, the E-Hybrid variant has improved performance by nearly 8 horsepower, but the power of the S E-Hybrid version has decreased by up to 16 horsepower. The acceleration from 0-96 km/h of the standard E-Hybrid version takes about 3.9 seconds (0.3 seconds faster than the previous version) and the S E-Hybrid version takes 3.5 seconds.

However, compared to the Turbo E-Hybrid version, the acceleration is still slower as this version can accelerate from 0-96 km/h in 3.0 seconds. The upcoming Turbo S version will be even faster with a maximum power of 729 horsepower from a V8 engine.

The electric motor inside the PDK gearbox of the Porsche Panamera 2024 hybrid model currently provides 187 horsepower. All versions use a 25.9 kWh battery pack – larger by 45% compared to the 17.9 kWh figure in the previous version. The German brand has not announced the electric operating range of the vehicle, but it is expected to be significantly improved.

The 2024 Porsche Panamera 4 E-Hybrid is equipped with standard LED Matrix headlights, black brake calipers, and 19-inch wheels that are not too prominent. The S E-Hybrid version is more impressive with standard 20-inch AeroDesign wheels and red 10-piston brake calipers. Customers can also opt for the more expensive PCCB ceramic-carbon brakes.

The starting price of the E-Hybrid version is from $115,500 (equivalent to about 2.83 billion VND) and increases to $126,800 (converted to about 3.11 billion VND) for the S E-Hybrid version. It is expected that the German automaker will start accepting orders for the hybrid Porsche Panamera from the end of March and deliver them to customers in the US in the third quarter of this year.

In Vietnam, the upgraded Porsche Panamera has not been launched yet and is currently being distributed with 7 versions ranging in price from 5.31-13.03 billion VND, of which the most expensive is the Panamera Turbo S and there is only 1 unit owned by Mr. Dang Le Nguyen Vu.
