The current generation of Nissan Navara is nearing the end of its life cycle, and an all-new version is expected to be released. Drawing inspiration from the Mitsubishi Triton, which received an upgraded chassis in July 2023, renowned graphic designer Theottle has created a conceptual design for the next-generation Navara.
Keeping the majority of the current version’s design, Theottle has breathed new life into the Navara by incorporating elements from the Nissan Interstar, especially evident in the grille and headlights. Additionally, the car features LED taillights and a redesigned rear trunk, as well as tweaked wheel design and mudguards to convey the distinctiveness of Nissan.
In terms of powertrain, the Navara is predicted to continue using a 2.5L 4-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine, producing 188 horsepower and a maximum torque of 450 Nm. This powertrain can be paired with either a 6-speed manual transmission or a 7-speed automatic transmission, similar to the current version.
Furthermore, the new generation Nissan Navara 2025 is expected to feature hybrid drivetrain options, enhancing its competitive edge against other pickup trucks in the same segment such as the Toyota Hilux, Ford Ranger, VW Amarok, Mitsubishi Triton, Mazda BT-50, and Isuzu D-Max.
The new Nissan Navara is rumored to make its debut in the second half of 2024 or early 2025.
