In order to raise awareness of safe driving and traffic culture in the community, Toyota Vietnam has partnered with the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union to organize the 2024 Youth Day with Traffic Culture.

The program will include an opening ceremony, launch and dissemination of traffic safety from 8:00 – 11:00 on February 24th, and will be open to visitors from 16:00 to 22:00 on February 24th and 25th, 2024 at Nguyen Hue Pedestrian Street, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City. The event will feature a variety of informative, engaging, and interesting activities.

To help users better understand the operation of driver assistance features, Toyota will simulate these features using virtual reality technology. Here, users will have the opportunity to experience some features of the Toyota Safety Sense (TSS) safety package, such as the Pre-Collision System, Adaptive Headlights, Lane Departure Alert, Lane Keeping Assist, and Dynamic Radar Cruise Control.

In addition, various other exciting experiential activities will be organized. Interactive games will be built around safety features such as Lane Departure Alert and Pre-Collision System to promote and enhance participants’ awareness of traffic safety. Furthermore, live music performances by famous artists and other entertainment activities will take place every evening at 8:00.

At the event, Toyota Vietnam will also showcase key models including Vios, Veloz Cross, and Yaris Cross. Among them, Vios was one of the top 10 best-selling models in the market in 2023 with sales of over 13,500 vehicles. Although the Yaris Cross was only launched at the end of September 2023, it recorded sales of 3,065 vehicles in 2023, averaging 1,022 vehicles per month. Event participants will have the opportunity to directly observe the interior and exterior of the models, as well as receive advice and answers to their questions from Toyota experts.

With impressive and innovative experiences, the event promises to be an attractive destination for young people and families on the weekend.

As one of the leading automobile manufacturers in Vietnam, Toyota always places a strong emphasis on integrating production and business with the sustainable development of society, with traffic safety being a top priority. Through the Youth Day event with Traffic Culture, Toyota aims to convey the message of safe driving within the community, especially among the younger generation. In addition to safety features equipped in vehicles, the skills and awareness of the driver are also crucial, playing a decisive role in their own safety and that of others. Therefore, Toyota Vietnam hopes to contribute to enhancing people’s awareness and skills in participating in traffic, thereby jointly building a culture of safe and civilized traffic.
