Not long after spy photographers caught the first glimpse of the second-generation Hyundai Palisade prototype on the test run, we now have the first images of the interior of this new three-row SUV.
While the exterior of the new Palisade is expected to follow in the footsteps of the 2024 Santa Fe, adopting a boxy design style, Hyundai’s designers have taken a cautious approach to the interior of the large SUV. The highlight of the 2026 Palisade’s cabin is the large curved screen, which may be a combination of dual 12.3-inch screens for the digital gauge cluster and infotainment screen.
In addition, the new Palisade will have a redesigned steering wheel similar to the Santa Fe, similar to the steering wheel used on the latest Land Rover models.
Although we have not been able to see every nook and cranny, the three-row cabin is expected to be much more beautiful than before, with better materials, a more modern design, and new technological features.
While the 2024 Santa Fe gained significant attention for its bold and unique design, Hyundai continues to prepare to bring the larger Palisade a more sophisticated and boxy design similar to its smaller sibling.
The second-generation Palisade has a slightly straighter front end than the current model. The large-size headlights appear to have integrated thin LED strips.
Moving to the sides of the car, we can see that the A-pillars and C-pillars are now painted black. Horizontally, the car looks quite square and boxy like the new Santa Fe. The rear end looks more upright and boxy than the current version but still has vertical taillights.
In addition, the Hyundai Palisade will be increased in size to provide users with a more spacious and comfortable interior.
According to ETNews, a South Korean news agency, this SUV will be built on a new platform and will offer both a hybrid 2.5L 4-cylinder engine and a turbocharged non-electrified 3.5L V6 engine. The new generation Palisade is expected to be launched in early next year.
