Mazda CX-70 2024 priced officially, as expensive as its CX-90 sibling despite having only 5 seats

Mazda CX-70 is a near-luxury SUV that was first debuted in January earlier this year. Shortly after its launch, this model has been priced in the US market.

Accordingly, in this market, the 2024 Mazda CX-70 has a starting price of $40,445, which is more expensive than the CX-90 even though it only has 5 seats. The 2024 Mazda CX-90 7-seater SUV currently has a starting price of $37,845 in the US.

In the standard 3.3 Turbo Preferred version, this car features a stylish exterior design with features such as LED headlights, black accents, 19-inch gray alloy wheels, automatic windshield wipers, and a sunroof.

As a luxury-focused SUV, the 2024 Mazda CX-70 is well-equipped even in the standard version with black leather seats, heated/power-adjustable front seats, leather-wrapped steering wheel, wireless phone charging, automatic air conditioning, and an 8-speaker sound system. In addition, the car also has a 7-inch instrument cluster and a 12.3-inch infotainment screen that supports Android Auto/Apple CarPlay.

The standard model of the 2024 Mazda CX-70 also has a complete set of safety features including adaptive cruise control with Stop & Go, blind-spot detection, lane keeping assist, and lane departure warning. Both the PHEV Premium Plus and PHEV Premium Plus versions use a plug-in hybrid (PHEV) powertrain with a 4-cylinder gasoline engine, a 2.5L displacement, a powerful 68 kW electric motor, and a 17.8 kWh lithium-ion battery. This powertrain produces a combined output of 323 horsepower and a peak torque of 500 Nm.
