Expected to arrive at dealerships in the US this spring, the two-row SUV is priced higher than the CX-90 model, with a starting price of thousands of dollars from $37,845. This may come as a surprise to many, but the fact is that the CX-70 does not have a base Select version like the 3-row SUV model. Therefore, these two models have equivalent prices depending on each version.

Although it is a puzzling move, the CX-70 3.3 Turbo Preferred has a very stylish exterior with LED headlights, black accents, and 19-inch gray painted alloy wheels. Buyers will also find a rain-sensing wiper and sunroof.

Because the CX-70 focuses on luxury, this model has an impressive interior with black leather seats that are heated and power-adjustable in the front. Along with that is a leather-wrapped steering wheel, wireless smartphone charging, automatic climate control, and an 8-speaker audio system. Buyers will also find a 7-inch screen in the instrument cluster as well as a 12.3-inch infotainment system, supporting Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity.

In terms of safety, the car is equipped with many driver assistance systems including radar cruise control, blind spot monitoring, and lane-keep assist with lane departure warning. They are combined with features like driver drowsiness warning, smart brake support, rear cross-traffic alert, and a rearview monitor.

Under the hood is a 3.3L 6-cylinder turbocharged engine that generates a maximum power of 280 horsepower and a peak torque of 450 Nm. The engine is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission and standard all-wheel drive.

The higher-end model is the CX-70 3.3 Turbo Premium, starting at $45,900. The car features a panoramic sunroof, power tailgate, and larger 21-inch black painted wheels. Buyers will also find black door handles and a towing capacity of up to 5,000 pounds.

Inside the cabin, upgrades continue with a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, a heads-up display, and a premium Bose 12-speaker audio system. Along with that is a more luxurious interior lighting system, Mazda online navigation system, and auto-dimming full-frame rearview mirror.

Buyers will also find additional driver assistance systems including blind spot assist, traffic sign recognition, and front/rear parking sensors. The car also has secondary collision reduction and non-responsive driver support systems, which can detect loss of driving ability and automatically stop the car.

The CX-70 3.3 Turbo Premium Plus version is priced at $48,900 and is even more luxurious with Nappa leather upholstery and a heated steering wheel. Buyers will also find heated and ventilated front seats as well as heated rear seats.

Other highlights include power-folding auto-dimming outside mirrors, de-icing windshield washer nozzles, and a 360-degree view monitor. In addition, the car also has front cross-traffic alert and an enhanced rearview monitor with moving guide lines.

The CX-70 3.3 Turbo S Premium version is priced at $52,450, using an upgraded engine that generates 340 horsepower and a peak torque of 500 Nm. Most of the features are similar to the standard Turbo Premium model, but there are some special highlights including a unique honeycomb grille and full LED lighting system. This model also has heated Nappa leather front seats and a 12.3-inch display.

Moving up to the CX-70 3.3 Turbo S Premium Plus version, which is priced at $55,950, users will receive a two-tone leather-wrapped steering wheel, suede dashboard, and exclusive brown Nappa leather seats.

Customers looking for an environmentally friendly model can choose the CX-70 PHEV Premium with a price of $54,400. As the name suggests, the car is equipped with a plug-in hybrid powertrain including a 2.5L 4-cylinder engine, an electric motor, and a 17.8 kWh battery pack. This powertrain gives the car an electric range of 42 km and a combined power output of 323 horsepower and a peak torque of 500 Nm.

In terms of equipment, buyers will receive LED headlights, power tailgate, rain-sensing wipers, panoramic sunroof, and 21-inch wheels.

Inside, the plug-in hybrid version has a 12.3-inch display, a Bose 12-speaker audio system, and a wireless smartphone charger. Customers will also find heated leather seats in the front, auto-dimming rearview mirror, etc.
