Recently, the Marketing Director of MG India confirmed that the company will soon introduce a new electric model in 2024.

MG has not shared much information, but the design of this new model has been revealed through copyright images.

According to the company, the car will be positioned in the small SUV segment. The design will have a boxy shape similar to some current models such as Suzuki Jimny, Land Rover Defender, Toyota Land Cruiser Prado…

The design of the car also has many similarities to the Baojun Yep pure electric SUV model, which was introduced in China last year.

The reason why the new MG car looks similar to the Baojun Yep is because both models belong to SAIC Motor’s subsidiaries.

Baojun Yep is also a highly anticipated model in Vietnam and is expected to be launched this year. Baojun Yep is positioned in the same segment as the VinFast VF 3.
