Recently, a short video has been circulating on social media, capturing the moment when a limited-edition Pagani Huayra Codalunga was stopped by two police officers while driving through the famous St. Moritz tourist area in Switzerland.
The video shows two Swiss police officers checking the blue Pagani Huayra Codalunga and questioning the driver about various documents. After the inspection, this rare car was escorted by the police back to the headquarters.
It is unclear what offense the driver committed during the journey, but according to many speculations, it may be due to the vehicle violating certain local regulations, such as having an incorrect license plate.
Others believe that the car may have been speeding or that this particular Huayra Codalunga is not equipped with the standard tires suitable for driving on snow.
The Huayra Codalunga was launched in 2022 with its signature elongated rear design and is a special edition by the Italian manufacturer Pagani, with only 5 units produced worldwide. Each car has a price of $7.35 million (approximately 181.3 billion VND).
Compared to the standard Huayra Coupe, the Huayra Codalunga has a longer rear portion of over 360 mm, accompanied by a lightweight titanium exhaust system weighing only 4.4 kg. This exhaust system is coated with a ceramic layer, similar to the racing cars that have participated in the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
In total, this supercar weighs only 1,280 kg and has extremely high aerodynamic efficiency. It is equipped with 4 active aerodynamic flaps, providing the Pagani Huayra Codalunga with excellent road grip even at high speeds.
Furthermore, the appearance of the Huayra Codalunga has been simplified instead of adding intricate details. The paint color and decorative elements on the car continue to draw inspiration from past models.
Inside, in addition to carbon fiber elements, the car’s upholstery also features woven suede surfaces to enhance its classic style.
Providing power for the Huayra Codalunga is still the familiar V12 engine with an output of 840 horsepower and a maximum torque of 1,100 Nm. The engine is paired with rear-wheel drive, combined with a 7-speed Xtrac automatic transmission.
