According to the plan, the Jaecoo 7 will be officially launched in Malaysia in the second quarter of 2024 and will be distributed through a network of 20 dealerships. The expected price of the Jaecoo 7 in this country is around 160,000 RM (~ 827 million VND).

According to the manufacturer’s announcement, the Jaecoo 7 has a ground clearance of 200 mm, water wading ability of 600 mm, approach angle of 21 degrees, and departure angle of 29 degrees. For those interested in practicality, the Jaecoo 7 has a maximum towing capacity of 1,300 kg, roof load of 75 kg, and luggage compartment capacity of 412 liters.

In terms of equipment, the Jaecoo 7 uses Aurora-inspired 19-inch alloy wheels, full LED lighting system. Inside the cabin of this SUV model, there are leather seats, 64-color interior ambient lighting, wireless charging, etc.

Other notable features on the Jaecoo 7 include: head-up display; 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster; 14.8-inch touchscreen infotainment screen; power-adjustable front seats; dual-zone climate control (with rear air vents); power tailgate and panoramic sunroof.

Powering the Jaecoo 7 is a turbocharged 1.6-liter, 4-cylinder engine that delivers a maximum output of 194 horsepower and a peak torque of 290 Nm. Paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. The Jaecoo 7 can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 8 seconds.

In terms of safety, the Jaecoo 7 is equipped with advanced ADAS driving assistance system with 21 features including: automatic emergency braking (AEB), forward collision warning, lane departure warning, lane keeping assist, emergency lane keeping, intelligent evasive steering system, cornering speed assistance, lead vehicle departure notification, surround view monitoring, door opening warning and parking assist. In addition, there are rear collision warning, rear cross-traffic alert, rear cross-traffic braking, blind spot monitoring, lane change assist, automatic headlights and adaptive cruise control with traffic jam assist.
