Trương Văn Đạo – the owner of the YouTube channel ND – Woodworking Art, is known as a skilled wood carver who has brought three outstanding wooden cars to the MotorXpo Hong Kong 2023 exhibition, attracting a lot of international attention.
At the MotorXpo Hong Kong 2023 exhibition (IMXpo 2023), Trương Văn Đạo presented three unique wooden cars: Mercedes Vision AVTR, Lamborghini Vision GT, and Rolls-Royce Boat Tail. These creations received the most interaction and anticipation on the ND – Woodworking Art channel.
According to Đạo, he was contacted by the organizers in March 2023, even though the exhibition took place in December 2023. The most challenging aspect for him was transporting the cars from Vietnam to Hong Kong. Therefore, Đạo had to disassemble the batteries and logos before shipping the cars abroad as art wooden objects.
During the MotorXpo Hong Kong 2023 exhibition, the artist’s creations from Bắc Ninh were displayed in an area dedicated to children, students, and young people. All the cars brought by Đạo to the event were small in size, suitable for young audiences.
Regarding future plans, Đạo stated that he will continue making famous car models, especially in concept form. Additionally, he also plans to design and create his own cars.
