Recently, on the homepage of VinFast, the prices of a series of electric car models have been adjusted. However, instead of decreasing like some other car manufacturers, VinFast has increased the prices of their electric car models.
Firstly, the VinFast VF5 Plus is priced at 479 million VND (excluding battery) and 559 million VND (including battery). Compared to the old price, the price of the VinFast VF5 Plus has increased by 21 million VND.
Next is the VinFast VF6, a B-segment pure electric SUV, with the new listed prices ranging from 686 – 776 million VND for battery rental and 776 – 866 million VND for battery purchase. This price has increased by 11 million VND compared to the old listed price.
For the VinFast VF7 electric car model, the listed prices have increased by 11 – 12 million VND, depending on the version and purchase method. The price without battery for the VinFast VF7 now ranges from 861 million VND to 1.036 billion VND. Meanwhile, the price with battery ranges from 1.01 – 1.236 billion VND.
Similarly, the VinFast VF e34 electric vehicle has also had its prices adjusted to 721 million VND without battery and 841 million VND with battery. The old selling prices of this model were 710 million VND and 830 million VND.
The last electric vehicle model that VinFast has increased the price for this time is the VF8 with CATL battery. Accordingly, the price without battery for the VinFast VF8 ranges from 1.157 – 1.346 billion VND, an increase of 12.5 – 13 million VND. The price with battery ranges from 1.367 – 1.556 billion VND, an increase of 13 million VND.

New listed prices for some VinFast electric car models (unit: VND)
The only electric vehicle model from VinFast that did not increase in price is the VF9. This model still has prices ranging from 1.491 – 2.292 billion VND, depending on the version and ownership method.
According to VinFast’s previous announcement, in 2023, the company sold 34,855 electric cars to customers worldwide, an increase of 374% compared to 2022. In the fourth quarter of 2023, VinFast contributed 13,513 cars, a 35% increase compared to the third quarter (10,027 cars).
As a result, in the fourth quarter of last year, the company achieved a revenue of 10,418 billion VND (437 million USD), an increase of 26% compared to the previous quarter and an increase of 133% compared to the same period in 2022. VinFast’s annual revenue reached 28,596 billion VND (1,198 billion USD), an increase of 91% compared to 2022.
This year, VinFast aims to deliver 100,000 cars and reach about 400 sales points globally. In addition, the company also aims to increase its competitive capacity in potential markets near Vietnam such as Indonesia and India.
