In the Vietnamese market, the Lexus LM 500h 2024 is expected to be distributed with two versions at a price range starting from 7.21 billion VND.
According to research, the Lexus LM 500h 2024 is currently being pre-ordered by many sales consultants. It is known that the new generation of Lexus LM 500h is expected to be launched to Vietnamese customers this month with 2 versions: 6 seats and 4 seats, with the corresponding prices of 7.21 billion VND and 8.61 billion VND. However, Lexus Vietnam has not yet confirmed this information.
Lexus LM 2024 was first introduced at the Shanghai Auto Show in April 2023. After that, the car continued to be launched in many countries in Southeast Asia such as Thailand, Indonesia, the Philippines, Brunei… Therefore, it is not surprising that the Lexus LM 2024 will soon be available in Vietnam.
Lexus LM is developed based on the TNGA platform of its parent company Toyota, the car has dimensions of length x width x height of 5,125 x 1,890 x 1,955 mm and a wheelbase of 3,000 mm. Compared to the previous generation, the car is longer by 85 mm, wider by 40 mm, taller by 10 mm while the wheelbase remains the same.
In terms of exterior, the front of the Lexus LM impresses with a large grille in the characteristic spindle shape of Lexus. This grille extends down to the front bumper and has a new grille pattern, similar to the sibling Lexus RX 2023.
Above the grille, there is also a narrow air intake located between 2 headlights. The headlight cluster of the Lexus LM 2024 is also redesigned. This headlight cluster with 3 LED bulbs still has a sharp design like before, but comes with 2 LED DRLs in the shape of the letter “L” instead of 1 like the previous generation. Meanwhile, the Lexus logo has been moved from inside the grille to the hood. At the two front corners, there are additional air intakes located vertically, decorated with sturdy silver trim. The car is equipped with 17-19 inch wheels, depending on the version, and also has electric sliding doors similar to the predecessor.
Moving to the rear, the Lexus LM has new LED taillights located horizontally on the tail of the car and designed to slope down. In the middle of the trunk lid, there is another thin strip of lights, possibly the brake light and the raised Lexus lettering.
In terms of interior, the new generation Lexus LM is equipped with modern convenience technologies, focusing on enhancing the experience of sitting in the car. One of the most notable changes is the new seat arrangement. The front seats are designed to hug the users, providing a more comfortable and secure feeling.
Lexus offers customers 3 seating configuration options: 4, 6, and 7 seats. Among them, the 4-seater model is the most luxurious with notable features such as: a partition between the front and rear seats, a 48-inch wide screen, a refrigerator, special storage compartments… Furthermore, the Lexus LM also has an advanced heating and cooling system that can measure the temperature of the passengers’ face, chest, and thigh to control HVAC for balanced cooling/heating capabilities.
Other notable convenience features on the Lexus LM 2024 include: digital instrument cluster integrated with the 14-inch center touch screen, premium Mark Levinson sound system, wireless phone charging, USB Type C ports, a 64-color ambient lighting system with 14 themes, electronic parking brake, and temporary brake hold function. The car’s ceiling features a wood-trimmed control panel with some of the car’s functions and roof vents. The control panel is flanked by sunroofs.
The car is powered by two engine options, 350h and 500h. The 500h version combines a turbocharged 2.4L engine (268 horsepower, 460 Nm) with 2 electric motors for a total output of up to 349 horsepower, accompanied by an 8-speed Direct Shift transmission. This is also the version that dealers are currently accepting deposits for.
On the other hand, the Lexus LM 350h will still be equipped with a 2.5L gasoline engine and electric motor as before.
In terms of safety equipment, the car is equipped with a series of driver assistance features of the Lexus Safety System+ package including: forward collision warning, pre-collision braking assist, radar-based cruise control… The car also has a system to monitor the driver’s posture, when the system determines that the driver cannot continue driving, the car will automatically activate warning lights and gently reduce speed.
