The Honda Accord RS e:HEV has recently been awarded a 5-star safety rating in crash tests conducted by the ASEAN NCAP (New Car Assessment Program for Southeast Asian Countries).
The Honda Accord RS e:HEV achieved a total score of 87.44 out of 100. Specifically, in the Adult Occupant Protection (AOP) category, this model scored 30.9 out of 32 points. In the Child Occupant Protection (COP) category, the car obtained a score of 45.25 out of 51.
In the Safety Assist Technologies (SAT) category, the car scored 19.50 out of 21 points. Finally, in the Motorcyclist Safety (MS) category, the car achieved a score of 10 out of 16 points.
The 11th generation Honda Accord RS e:HEV is highly rated for its safety features, especially the advanced Honda SENSING driver-assist system, which includes features such as driver inattention warning, traffic sign recognition, surround-view monitor, adaptive cruise control, and lane keeping assist. The car is also equipped with 4 front sensors, 4 rear sensors, and a multi-angle camera system.
In Vietnam, the Honda Accord is currently available in one version, priced at 1.319 billion VND. This is an upgraded version within the lifecycle of the 10th generation.
Powering the car is a turbocharged 1.5-liter engine, delivering a maximum output of 188 horsepower at 5,500 RPM and a peak torque of 260 Nm at 1,600-5,000 RPM. It is paired with a CVT transmission.
