Honda has announced that the Pilot 2025 will debut at dealerships in the US on March 1, 2024. The notable highlight of the Honda Pilot 2025 is the introduction of a new top-of-the-line version called the Black Edition.
As the name suggests, the new edition of the Honda Pilot sits above the Elite trim and stands out with its dark accents. The car adds 20-inch Gloss Black alloy wheels, along with a blacked-out front grille and mirror caps.
In addition, the Black Edition also features a black front bumper, window trim, door trim accents, and rear diffuser. The Black Edition badge is attached to both the front grille and the rear tailgate.
Furthermore, this edition is equipped with Honda’s AWD system, along with perforated leather seats with red accents and contrasting red stitching on the steering wheel, seats, and door panels. The red theme continues with the interior lighting system, the Black Edition branding on the seats, and the floor mats.
In the US, the Pilot Black Edition starts at $55,675, making it the most expensive version in the Pilot lineup. The FWD Pilot Sport is currently the base version and starts at $41,295. While this price is only $300 higher than the equivalent version of the 2024 model, it is $2,810 higher than the base LX 2024 Pilot, which has been discontinued.
In addition, all other versions of the Pilot 2025 have been adjusted with a $300 price increase, except for the EX-L trim which sees an $800 increase.
Powering the Honda Pilot 2025 is a 3.5L V6 engine, delivering a maximum output of 285 horsepower. All versions come equipped with the Honda Sensing system, which includes features such as automatic emergency braking, pedestrian detection, forward collision warning, lane departure mitigation, lane keeping assist, adaptive cruise control, and more.
