Toyota Vietnam has announced new retail prices for the Veloz Cross from March 2024. Specifically, the CVT and CVT Top versions have been reduced by 20 million and 38 million respectively, with new prices of 638 million and 660 million. The prices already include 10% VAT and apply to vehicles with invoices issued from March 1, 2024. This is a practical action in the context of the general economic situation still being sluggish, high bank interest rates and inflation making consumers face financial difficulties.
After nearly 2 years of being present in the market, Veloz Cross has consistently maintained impressive monthly sales figures in the MPV 7-seater segment in particular and the car market in general. In 2023, a total of 9,318 Veloz Cross units were delivered to customers in Vietnam, and in December 2023 alone, Veloz Cross was among the top 10 best-selling models in the market.
Veloz Cross is positioned in the mainstream MPV segment, but this model still has many premium features such as LED headlights, 3 driving modes, an 8-9 inch entertainment screen, electronic parking brake, and wireless charging. The most notable is the premium TSS safety package, which includes pre-collision warning, lane departure warning, automatic leveling headlights, throttle control, forward collision warning, and other valuable safety features such as panoramic camera, rear cross-traffic alert, electronic stability control, and 6 airbags.
