Talking about supercar culture in Vietnam, there is no one who doesn’t know about Cuong “Dola”, whose real name is Nguyen Quoc Cuong, born and raised in Gia Lai, a city in the Central Highlands. From the first supercar in Vietnam in 2007, it has been 17 years, and this car enthusiast is still passionate about the high-speed machines of Porsche, Ferrari, and even the luxury cars of Rolls-Royce, Bentley, or Mercedes-Maybach S-Class.
Cuong “Dola’s” car collection currently has more than 6 cars, ranging from supercars, sports cars, luxury SUVs to luxury sedans. This shows that this car enthusiast is still very passionate about his hobby. Notably, when he acquired the limited-edition Porsche 911 Sport Classic last year, Cuong “Dola” quickly took the car on a road trip from Saigon to Quy Nhon. He even mentioned that he would try to drive this limited-edition sports car, of which only 2 exist in Vietnam, for over 100,000 kilometers.
In a recent social media post, Cuong “Dola” shared pictures of the Porsche 911 Sport Classic driving around his orchard, joking that he would “visit a few more ponds and then return”. The photos show that this is actually a beautiful coastal road that cannot be compared to anywhere else.
It is known that the Porsche 911 Sport Classic uses a 7-speed manual transmission, which car enthusiasts, like Dam Thu Trang’s husband, find exciting. Therefore, Cuong “Dola” has set a goal to drive the Porsche 911 Sport Classic for over 100,000 kilometers before selling it.
Cuong “Dola’s” Porsche 911 Sport Classic is painted in Sport Gray Metallic, a color that 85% of customers choose when buying a Porsche 911 Sport Classic.
This car is globally limited to 1,250 units, and only 2 have been imported into Vietnam, with a price starting from 19.22 billion VND, excluding additional options. The car enthusiast chose the car’s sequential number as 1202/1250, with the number 82 on the door panel, representing his birth date as February 12, 1982.
Cuong “Dola’s” Porsche 911 Sport Classic limited-edition sports car is equipped with a 6-cylinder engine, 3.8-liter displacement, twin-turbocharging, generating a maximum power of 542 horsepower and a peak torque of 600 Nm. The engine is paired with a 7-speed manual transmission and rear-wheel drive, allowing this limited-edition sports car to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.1 seconds before reaching a top speed of 315 km/h.
