Ford Vietnam has recently adjusted the price of the Explorer model on the company’s website.
Accordingly, customers buying this car now only have to pay VND 1,999 billion (reducing VND 440 million). This is the deepest price reduction of Ford Explorer since its appearance in the Vietnamese market.
The reason for this record-breaking price reduction is that the market after Lunar New Year is somewhat sluggish. On the other hand, the old selling price of the car is quite high, making it difficult for users to approach.
The easier new price of Ford Explorer will help this car model have a chance to compete with competitors, especially Hyundai Palisade, which is also being favored at dealerships.
Not only is the listed price reduced, at some Ford dealerships, this car is also receiving discounts of up to nearly VND 100 million.
Ford Explorer currently available in Vietnam is the 6th generation, imported completely built-up from the US. The car is developed on a new unibody frame system, helping to reduce the weight of the car by up to 90 kg compared to its predecessor, while bringing the image of a spacious and prestigious 7-seater SUV.
Inside the driver’s compartment, Ford Explorer is equipped with a luxurious steering wheel, an 8-inch center touch screen integrated with SYNC 3.4, and a 6.5-inch digital instrument cluster behind the steering wheel. In addition, two 8-inch entertainment screens in the rear seats also support independent content viewing.
Furthermore, the car also has: panorama skylight with 2 independent zones, electronic parking brake, high-end 12-speaker B&O sound system, wireless charging, type C charging, 3-zone air conditioning with premium filters.
Providing power for Ford Explorer is the turbocharged Ecoboost 2.3L engine with a maximum output of nearly 297 horsepower and a maximum torque of 431 Nm. The engine is combined with a 4WD drivetrain and a 10-speed automatic transmission.
The car has 7 different driving modes, including Normal, Sport, Eco, Slippery, Deep Snow/Sand, Tow/Haul, and Trail.
In terms of safety equipment, Ford Explorer owns the Co-Pilot 360 package with advanced features such as blind-spot warning, evasive steering assist, adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking, adaptive headlights/spotlights, and more.
