In order to clear inventory and stimulate post-Tet shopping demand, recently, many Hyundai dealers have launched a promotion for the large-sized SUV Palisade.
Accordingly, customers buying the standard 6-seat Exclusive 2023 production year of the Hyundai Palisade will receive discounts up to 80 million VND. In addition, customers will also receive cash gifts or hull insurance. The total value of the incentives is up to 90 million VND.
For the 2024 production year vehicles, the incentives will be lower, only about 30 million VND for the standard Exclusive and high-end Prestige trims.
In fact, there is no difference between the 2023 and 2024 production year models. However, the 2023 models are limited in quantity, therefore, the color and trim options are not diverse.
The Hyundai Palisade is available in Vietnam with a total of 4 trims, including the 7-seat Exclusive, 6-seat Exclusive, 7-seat Prestige, and 6-seat Prestige with prices ranging from 1,469 to 1,589 billion VND.
Currently, only the 6-seat trim is available at the dealerships. Customers who want to buy the 7-seat version may have to wait for a while.
Hyundai officially launched the Palisade in the Vietnamese market on September 15, 2023. The Palisade is the largest and most expensive 3-row SUV from Hyundai at the moment, competing with formidable rivals such as Ford Explorer and Volkswagen Teramont.
The car has dimensions of length x width x height of 4,995 x 1,975 x 1,785 mm, a wheelbase of 2,900 mm, and a ground clearance of 203 mm.
The front end of the car impresses with a large-sized grille, creating a Cascading Grill waterfall design. This grille design also applies the Parametric Dynamics aerodynamic style similar to the Hyundai Tucson, creating a sturdy design like a strong shield.
The lighting system features full LED Projector headlights and T-Shape signature LED DRLs that are vertically integrated around the grille, forming a continuous block.
This E-segment SUV is equipped with 18 or 20-inch alloy wheels with a strong design, combined with muscular fender flares to create a premium and highly-distinguished appearance. The front bumper is designed for aerodynamic efficiency while enhancing the car’s powerful look.
The rear end of the car stands out with large-sized vertical LED taillights, combined with a large-sized rear bumper and dual exhaust pipes to enhance the car’s powerful presence. The taillight cluster is shaped in an H pattern, in synchrony with the front lighting cluster, adding elegance and sophistication to the Palisade and its owner.
Regarding the interior, the car offers two interior options: 6 and 7 seats. The cabin area is almost completely revamped compared to the previous generation. The center screen has been increased in size from 10.25 to 12.3 inches, with a 360-degree camera connection, Apple CarPlay/Android Auto support, and a premium 12-speaker Infinity entertainment system with a total output of 550W.
Other impressive features in the car include a 10-inch digital instrument cluster, a heads-up display (HUD), an electronic parking brake, rear sunshades, air conditioning vents in the third-row seats, charging ports for all three rows, and an electronically-controlled electrochromic rearview mirror.
Palisade is equipped with weightless ergonomically-designed seats optimized for the human body structure, providing comfort and reducing fatigue on long journeys. The second-row seats are of the “Captain” type, helping to provide the best possible space for resting or working. The first and second-row seats are equipped with cooling and heating functions, adapting to all weather conditions.
The second-row seats can be adjusted with a one-touch function, making it easy to move the seat forward for convenient access to the third-row seats or fold it flat to increase the usable space.
In terms of safety features, Hyundai Palisade is equipped with the active safety system SmartSense, including: Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Brake Assist (BA), Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD), Traction Control System (TCS), Vehicle Stability Management (VSM), Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Hill-start Assist Control (HAC), Downhill Brake Control (DBC), Blind-Spot Collision Avoidance (BCA), and 7 airbags, ensuring the safety of the driver, passengers, as well as other people and vehicles on the road.
Providing power for the car is a 2.2-liter diesel engine with a capacity of 200 horsepower and a maximum torque of 440 Nm. It comes with an 8-speed automatic transmission and a 4-wheel drive system. The E-segment SUV has 4 driving modes (Eco, Comfort, Sport, Smart) and 3 terrain modes (Snow, Sand, Mud).
