The Vietnam automobile market in 2024 is predicted by experts to be better than last year. It is still too early to know whether this prediction is accurate or not. However, one thing is certain that the Vietnam automobile market this year will be lively with the appearance of a series of new brands and models, from mass market to luxury.

Now, let’s take a look at the luxury cars planned to be launched in Vietnam this year.

Lexus GX

Among the luxury cars that will be launched in Vietnam this year, the Lexus GX is perhaps the most awaited name. This luxury SUV has started to receive deposits from Vietnamese dealers since the end of 2023.

Lexus GX

According to sales consultants at the dealership, the Lexus GX 2024 sold in Vietnam will only have one version, which is the GX 550 with an expected price of VND 5.97 billion at the current time. At the launch event of the new generation GLC in May 2023, Mercedes-Benz announced plans to introduce a series of new models in Vietnam this year, including the Mercedes-AMG C63 S E Performance. Initially, this high-performance model was scheduled to be introduced in Vietnam in 2023. However, it was not until this year that this high-performance model was officially launched.

Mercedes-AMG C63 S E Performance

Imported from Germany, the Mercedes-AMG C63 S E Performance is the second high-performance version of the C-Class sedan in Vietnam, following the Mercedes-AMG C43. The most notable highlight of the car is the plug-in hybrid powertrain under the hood.

Specifically, the car is equipped with a 4-cylinder turbocharged gasoline engine, a capacity of 2.0 liters, combined with a 48V mild hybrid system, creating a maximum power of 469 horsepower and a maximum torque of 545 Nm. Mercedes-AMG SL

In addition to the Mercedes-AMG C63 S E Performance, the three-pointed-star brand also introduces another high-performance line car in Vietnam this year, which is the Mercedes-AMG SL. At the end of last year, the company had already started selling this model in Vietnam.

Mercedes-Maybach EQS

In addition to the above-mentioned high-performance cars, Mercedes-Benz also introduces a new luxury electric car in Vietnam this year, the Mercedes-Maybach EQS. As the name suggests, this is the more luxurious Maybach version of the EQS SUV electric car currently on sale in Vietnam.

Mercedes-Maybach EQS

The “heart” of the upcoming Mercedes-Maybach EQS is two powerful electric motors with 649 horsepower and 950 Nm. Thanks to this, the car can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.4 seconds. At the same time, the car can travel up to 600 km after a full charge.

Compared to the already luxurious Mercedes-Benz EQS SUV, the Mercedes-Maybach EQS is even more luxurious with special 22-inch wheels, seats with heating/cooling/massage functions, automatically moving front passenger seat when the rear seat reclines, a Burmester 4D 15-speaker surround sound system, standard Air Balance fragrance system, a cup holder that can heat drinks, a Hyperscreen display covering the entire dashboard, an 11.6-inch screen on the front seatbacks, and 253-color interior ambient lighting system.
