After a nearly half-month journey across Vietnam, entrepreneur Nguyen Ngoc Hieu and his white Porsche 911 Dakar have officially arrived in the capital city.

It is known that this entrepreneur will stay in Hanoi for about 2 days before returning to Ho Chi Minh City. He could not complete the cross-Vietnam journey to conquer the Northwestern and Northeast regions of the country and had to return to Ho Chi Minh City to prepare for the cross-border journey through Cambodia, Thailand, and Malaysia to reach the island nation of Singapore.

This year, the host of the “HIEU.TV” podcast also plans to take his Porsche 911 Dakar across the Asia – Europe continent with a distance of 35,000 km. It is expected that this leg will start in Vietnam, pass through China, Mongolia, Russia, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Czech Republic, Austria, Hungary, Slovenia, Italy, Switzerland, France, and finally stop in Germany.

Completely different from the previous official Porsche 911 Dakar imports, entrepreneur Hieu TV’s Porsche 911 Dakar 2023 has a white exterior with some details on the front and rear bumper, wheel arches painted matte black. Instead of having a numbered logo, this car is adorned with decals and some personalized details.

The car still retains the 19-inch Zoll Dakar wheels at the front and 20-inch at the rear, with red brake calipers and all-terrain tires.

The Porsche 911 Dakar was developed based on the platform of the standard 911 Carrera but has been upgraded to be able to travel on various terrains. Porsche has fine-tuned the suspension system on the car, raising the ground clearance by 80 mm compared to regular 911 versions, reaching 200 mm.

When activating the Off-road High Level mode, the ground clearance of the car will increase by an additional 30mm. Thanks to this, the model brings the same ground clearance and driving angles as regular SUVs, allowing the car to pass over speed bumps and road humps without worrying about scraping its underbody. This mode will be automatically turned off when the car is operated at speeds over 170 km/h.

Providing power for the Porsche 911 Dakar is a 3.0L 6-cylinder boxer engine with a capacity of 473 horsepower and 570 Nm of torque, accompanied by an 8-speed PDK automatic transmission and AWD system. This power enables the car to accelerate to 100 km/h in just 3.4 seconds and reach a top speed of 240 km/h. In addition, the car also has 2 driving modes, Rallye and Off-road, accompanied by the Rallye Launch Control feature that optimizes traction by an additional 20%.

In Vietnam, the Porsche 911 Dakar is officially imported with a price of nearly 15.3 billion VND (excluding additional options).
