So, with a budget of around 700 million VND, should you buy the top-of-the-line Mitsubishi Xforce or the top-of-the-line Hyundai Creta? In this article, we will compare the features of the Mitsubishi Xforce Premium and the Hyundai Creta top-of-the-line to help you make the decision.

The Mitsubishi Xforce and Hyundai Creta are both formidable competitors in the B-segment SUV market in Vietnam.

Comparison of Exterior Features:

The Hyundai Creta top-of-the-line measures 4,315 x 1,790 x 1,660 mm, with a wheelbase of 2,610 mm and a ground clearance of 200 mm.

In terms of exterior features, the Mitsubishi Xforce Premium and the Hyundai Creta top-of-the-line share several similarities, such as LED headlights with automatic on/off feature, LED daytime running lights, front LED fog lights, LED taillights, shark fin antenna, and power-adjustable/folding side mirrors.

However, the Mitsubishi Xforce Premium is equipped with 18-inch alloy wheels and power-operated tailgate, while the Hyundai Creta top-of-the-line comes with 17-inch alloy wheels and does not have a power-operated tailgate. Comparison of Interior Features:

Due to its larger dimensions, the Mitsubishi Xforce Premium offers a more spacious interior. Both SUVs are equipped with 5 seats, with rear seats that can be folded down to increase cargo space.

The shared interior features between the two B-segment SUVs include leather seats, leather-wrapped steering wheel with integrated function buttons, automatic climate control, rear vents for the back seats, smart key, push-button start, 8-speaker audio system, electronic parking brake, and temporary brake hold. However, both SUVs do not have a sunroof.

Behind the steering wheel of the Mitsubishi Xforce Premium is an 8-inch digital instrument cluster, while the center touchscreen display measures 12.3 inches. The Hyundai Creta top-of-the-line is equipped with two 10.25-inch screens.

The Mitsubishi Xforce Premium has additional features that the Hyundai Creta top-of-the-line lacks, such as nanoe-X air purification function, wireless phone charging, interior ambient lighting, and wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto connectivity. On the other hand, the Hyundai Creta top-of-the-line has competitive advantages such as 8-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, heated/ventilated front seats, and voice-command activation.

Overall, the interior features of the Mitsubishi Xforce Premium are slightly better than those of its Korean competitor.

Comparison of Safety Features:

Both the Mitsubishi Xforce Premium and the Hyundai Creta top-of-the-line are equipped with comprehensive safety features. Both SUVs have 4-wheel disc brakes, 6 airbags, electronic stability control, hill start assist, blind-spot warning, rear cross-traffic alert, forward collision mitigation, tire pressure monitoring system, rear parking sensors, and a rearview camera.

However, the Mitsubishi Xforce Premium is additionally equipped with adaptive cruise control, automatic high beam headlights, front departure alert, and active yaw control, while the Hyundai Creta top-of-the-line does not have these features. On the other hand, the Hyundai Creta top-of-the-line has lane-keeping assist and lane departure warning, which are absent in the Mitsubishi Xforce Premium.

Therefore, in terms of safety features, the Mitsubishi Xforce Premium and the Hyundai Creta top-of-the-line are equally matched.

Under the hood of the Mitsubishi Xforce Premium is a 1.5L 4-cylinder gasoline engine, producing a maximum power of 104 horsepower and a peak torque of 141 Nm. The engine is paired with a continuously variable transmission (CVT) and front-wheel drive. The SUV also offers 4 driving modes: Normal, Gravel, Mud/Snow, and Slippery.

While the Mitsubishi Xforce Premium shares its engine with the Xpander compact MPV, the Hyundai Creta top-of-the-line shares its powertrain with the Stargazer. The Hyundai Creta top-of-the-line is powered by a 1.5L Smartstream 4-cylinder gasoline engine, delivering a maximum power of 115 horsepower and a peak torque of 144 Nm.
