The Toyota Veloz Cross is a sportier and more premium version of the new generation Avanza. The Veloz Cross will help Toyota regain market share and compete with the likes of the Mitsubishi Xpander and Suzuki XL7.
On December 28, 2022, Toyota Vietnam officially released the Veloz Cross. Instead of having to import it fully assembled from Indonesia like before, the Veloz Cross will now be produced and assembled in Vietnam, which brings more flexibility in improving the supply to meet customer demands.
