The new generation Hyundai Santa Fe was first displayed in the Philippines in December last year. After 3 months, this model is finally officially introduced to the Philippines market.

In this Southeast Asian market, the 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe is available in 3 versions, including 2.5 GLS 8AT 2WD, 2.5 GLS 8AT AWD, and 2.5T Calligraphy 8DCT AWD. The price of this model ranges from 2.41 – 3.1 million Peso (approximately 1.067 – 1.373 billion VND).

Under the hood of the 2 lower variants are the 2.5L Smartstream 4-cylinder petrol engines, producing a maximum power of 194 horsepower at 6,100 rpm and a maximum torque of 246 Nm at 4,000 rpm. This engine is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission, either 1WD or 2WD.

On the other hand, the top-of-the-line version of the 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe in the Philippines is equipped with a 2.5L Smartstream 4-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine, generating a maximum power of 281 horsepower at 5,800 rpm and a maximum torque of 422 Nm in the range of 1,700 – 4,000 rpm. This engine is combined with an 8-speed wet dual-clutch automatic transmission and AWD.

Similar to the models for the US and South Korean markets, the 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe in the Philippines has undergone a complete redesign. This model is designed in a more square and masculine style, reminiscent of the luxury SUV Land Rover Defender. However, the exterior design of the 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe has also sparked controversy, especially in the rear area.

At the front of the car, the 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe is equipped with new curved headlights, LED daytime running lights, and a new “H” grille design. Meanwhile, the muscular fenders and glossy black details enhance the ruggedness of the exterior of this model.

The 2 lower variants of the 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe in the Philippines come with 20-inch alloy wheels and 225/45R20 tires. Meanwhile, the top-of-the-line version is equipped with 21-inch alloy wheels and 245/45R21 tires.

In addition to the design changes, the 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe has also increased in size compared to its predecessor. Specifically, the car has dimensions of 4,830 x 1,900 x 1,770 mm (length x width x height), a wheelbase length of 2,815 mm, and a ground clearance of 177 mm.

Inside the 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe in the Philippines is a spacious 7-seater interior. The model for the Southeast Asian market does not have a 6-seater version like in South Korea.

The interior of the new Santa Fe creates a more premium feeling than before, aiming to provide a “Plus Alpha” experience, according to Hyundai. The interior design emphasizes the balance between indoor and outdoor activities. Therefore, Hyundai has combined advanced technology features with spacious cargo space when designing the interior of this model.

The infotainment screen of the car supports wireless Apple CarPlay & Android Auto connectivity, voice command control, and a 6-speaker audio system.

Other notable features of the 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe in the Philippines include a smart key, push-button start, fingerprint scanner, UV-C sterilization compartment for mobile devices, dual-zone automatic climate control, wireless phone charging, center console armrest for the front two rows, power-adjustable front seats, and driver seat memory.

Regardless of the version, the 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe comes with leather seats, a 60:40 split-folding second row, a 50:50 split-folding third row, 6 charging ports, 12 cup holders, and 4 bottle holders.
