The current generation Mitsubishi Pajero Sport has been on the market since 2019. Therefore, it is time for Mitsubishi to prepare for the mid-life facelift version of this mid-size SUV model. Leaked images of the 2024 Mitsubishi Pajero Sport on the streets of Southeast Asia indicate that.
From these few images, we can see that the 2024 Mitsubishi Pajero Sport has been improved in some exterior details, focusing on the front area of the vehicle. Here, this D-sized SUV is equipped with a new grille and front bumper. Next are the new multi-spoke wheels with a two-tone machined scratch design.

There is currently no image showing the rear area of the 2024 Mitsubishi Pajero Sport. However, it would not be surprising if the vehicle only undergoes slight adjustments in the rear bumper design.
The remaining areas of the new Mitsubishi Pajero Sport remain unchanged. This SUV model continues to be equipped with a two-tier headlight system and a chrome “X” garnish surrounding the grille. The side area of the vehicle also remains unchanged except for the wheels.

Inside the vehicle, this mid-size SUV is equipped with a new 3-spoke steering wheel design that resembles the Mitsubishi Xforce. This steering wheel helps the interior of the Mitsubishi Pajero Sport look less outdated. However, other interior details of the vehicle remain almost the same as the previous version. The vehicle’s infotainment screen is still placed recessed between the 2 center air vents.

Unfortunately, there is not much information related to the equipment of the 2024 Mitsubishi Pajero Sport. According to rumors, this mid-size SUV will be equipped with a new diesel engine similar to the 2024 Mitsubishi Triton.
In the new generation, the Mitsubishi Triton has two engine options. First is the single turbocharged MIVEC 4-cylinder diesel engine with a displacement of 2.4L, maximum power of 183 horsepower, and maximum torque of 430 Nm. The second is the twin-turbocharged MIVEC 4-cylinder diesel engine with a displacement of 2.4L, maximum power of 204 horsepower, and maximum torque of 470 Nm. The engine comes with a 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmission.
It is highly likely that the new version of the Mitsubishi Pajero Sport will be officially unveiled at the Bangkok International Motor Show 2024 (BIMS) held from March 27th to April 7th in Thailand. After Thailand, this mid-size SUV is expected to continue to launch in other Southeast Asian markets such as Vietnam.
