Today, on March 18, 2024, Mitsubishi officially launched a slightly upgraded version of the Pajero Sport SUV in the Thai market. In this market, the car is available in 4 versions with prices ranging from 1,389 – 1,689 million Baht (approximately 954 million to 1.16 billion Vietnamese Dong).
Just like the leaked images a few days ago, the Mitsubishi Pajero Sport 2024 only has slight changes in its exterior design. The car features a new grille and new alloy wheels. The wheels have a diameter of 18 inches and a new design. The front and rear bumper trims have also been improved compared to the previous version.

The top-of-the-line version will also have an additional glossy black exterior package, such as the grille, the raised Pajero Sport emblem on the hood, the front/rear bumper trims, the mirror caps, the shark fin antenna, the roof rail, the alloy wheels, the door handles, the tailgate spoiler, and the trim on the rear door.

Inside the car, Mitsubishi Pajero Sport 2024 only has a few new details such as a 3-spoke steering wheel similar to Xforce. Behind the steering wheel is a new 8-inch digital instrument cluster, but only available in the top-of-the-line version. Meanwhile, the lower version still uses an analog instrument cluster with a 4.2-inch multi-information color TFT display. These changes make the interior of the car look less outdated.

The biggest change in this mid-size SUV lies in its engine. The car now uses a 4-cylinder MIVEC diesel engine, with a single turbocharger and a displacement of 2.4L, delivering a maximum power of 183 horsepower and a peak torque of 430 Nm. This is the same engine currently used in the new generation Mitsubishi Triton. The engine is paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission, rear-wheel drive or Super Select 4WD II 4-wheel drive system.
