The Department of Transport of Quang Tri province has just announced to the driving schools and driving test centers in the province about the suspension of driver’s license exams.
Prior to this, the Department of Transport of Quang Tri province had checked the DAT data of learners at training centers in the province through the query tool on the DAT data management software of the Road Department. This was done to approve the list of learners eligible to participate in the exams according to regulations.
However, when trying to access, the DAT data management software was unable to connect. Contacting the Road Department, the Department of Transport of Quang Tri province was informed that the Road Department’s server was currently experiencing issues and unable to query the list of learners.
The Department of Transport of Quang Tri province stated that it has sent a letter to the Road Department requesting guidance on how to handle the issue and is awaiting a response.
In relation to the suspension of driver’s license exams, the Department of Transport of Quang Tri province stated that this is a technical problem beyond the authority of local Departments. Therefore, the leadership of the Department of Transport of Quang Tri province requested the training centers and driving test centers to notify learners to avoid any negative impact on their work and share the difficulties faced by the Department.
The Department of Transport of Quang Tri province also stated that as soon as there is a notification and guidance from the Road Department, the Department will implement measures to ensure the rights of the learners.
It is known that the DAT device installed on the learner’s practice vehicle will send data to the server of the training center and the management agency. Through the DAT device and data, learners will be ensured sufficient time and distance for practice driving as required.
