The Suzuki Jimny is considered a notable model from the Japanese brand in the Vietnamese market recently. Recently, a Suzuki dealership in Can Tho city attracted attention when it advertised a Jimny that has been upgraded in the style of the Mercedes-AMG G 63.
It’s easy to notice the changes on this Jimny from the outside. The new mudguards look sportier, the rear bumper is similar to the G 63, the radiator grille and Suzuki logo have also been changed. Notably, the turn signal elements on the hood area have also been added to this model.
Inside the cabin, the car has also been upgraded with a Mercedes-like air vent design. The seats are leather instead of fabric as the Jimny from the factory. The other details remain the same.
The engine in this Jimny has not changed, still a 1.5L gasoline engine with 103 horsepower and 138 Nm of torque. The car uses a 4-speed automatic transmission, 2-wheel drive. On the Mercedes-AMG G 63, the engine is a V8 4.0L with 585 horsepower and 850 Nm of torque.
The dealer’s staff shared that the price of the G 63 version of the Jimny is 999 million VND. If you want to own it, you have to spend more than 1 billion VND. This is considered a high price for a car like the Jimny.
Information from Suzuki Vietnam regarding the sale of the Jimny has appeared since last year, but until now, this car model has not been officially released. There is speculation that the high-ride Suzuki car will have a starting price of 789 million VND, and if you choose the two-tone color version, the price will be 799 million VND.
