OMODA & JAECOO are gearing up to introduce the JAECOO 6 EV model in Thailand (also known as the iCAR03 in some markets) in 2024. This is a brand new fully electric SUV model with right-hand drive specifically designed for the Thai market.

The vehicle features a square-shaped design reminiscent of the Land Rover Defender, especially when viewed from the side. The headlights are placed horizontally, while the turn signals and position lights are positioned vertically at the front of the vehicle. The wheel arches are extended, with large-sized tires and dual five-spoke alloy wheels.

The rear of the vehicle is square-shaped and comes with a storage compartment behind instead of a spare tire as usual. The rear trunk still opens horizontally, similar to the Mercedes G63. The dimensions of the vehicle are 4,406 x 1,910 x 1,715 mm (length x width x height) with a wheelbase of 2,715 mm.

The JAECOO 6 EV is equipped with two electric motors placed at the front and rear, delivering a power output of 279 horsepower and a torque of 385 Nm. It has four-wheel drive and can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 6.5 seconds. The 69.8 kWh battery pack provides a maximum range of approximately 470 km. The JAECOO 6 EV supports fast DC charging of up to 85 kW and can charge from 30% to 80% in just 30 minutes.

The interior of the JAECOO 6 EV is quite simple, featuring a digital display behind the steering wheel and a large infotainment screen in the center. The gear lever is in crystal shape, the steering wheel has a flat bottom design with touch control buttons and a scroll wheel. The vehicle also has wireless charging, Type-C charging ports, panoramic sunroof, and leather seats with two-tone color.
