Audi has just introduced two new all-electric SUVs, the Q6 and SQ6, which are expected to be unveiled to the public later this year. Both models are positioned above the previously launched Q4, with many changes compared to the Q6 model with an internal combustion engine currently available in the Chinese market.
 Â
The exterior of the car is more sporty and eye-catching. The dimensions of the car are 4,771 mm in length, 1,993 mm in width, and 1,648 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,899 mm. For easy comparison, the Audi Q6 is 103 mm shorter, 73 mm wider, 29 mm lower, and has a wheelbase 41 mm shorter than the Mercedes-Benz EQB currently available in Vietnam.
In terms of design, the Audi Q6 has a similar style to the internal combustion engine vehicles instead of using completely flat surfaces like other electric models. The front of the car features large air intakes on the sides, with a large air inlet in the middle. The 3D design of the front grille is eye-catching, accompanied by LED Matrix headlights.
The rear of the car is more impressive with a black diffuser and extended LED taillights. The body of the car still adopts muscular and sculpted design lines.
 Â
This electric SUV uses relatively small wheels with a size of only 18 inches, while the sportier S variant is increased to 19 inches. The SQ6 model comes with 20-inch wheels. In addition, customers can choose to purchase a black exterior trim package with details such as window borders and black-painted logos or an imitation aluminum trim package to enhance luxury.
 Â
The interior of the Audi Q6 and SQ6 was previously showcased at the Munich Motor Show 2023. The production version remains unchanged from the concept version, with an extended screen from the central control panel to the back of the steering wheel, including an 11.9-inch digital instrument cluster and a 14.5-inch infotainment screen.
 Â
In addition, users have an additional HUD screen and a 10.9-inch screen for front passengers, along with a sunblind technology that allows them to enjoy entertainment without distracting the driver.
Other notable features of this electric SUV include the premium Bang & Olufsen 22-speaker sound system, rosewood interior trim, etc.
The Audi Q6 uses the Premium Electric Platform (PPE), with a new lithium-ion battery developed by the German carmaker with a total capacity of 100 kWh. Thanks to that, the car can operate up to 625 km, although the EPA has previously tested it at 483 km. Users can charge the battery from 10% to 80% in just 21 minutes when using a fast DC 270 kW charger.
This electric motor generates a power of 422 horsepower, which can be increased to 456 horsepower when the start control system is activated. Thanks to that, the car can accelerate from 0 to 96 km/h in 5 seconds before reaching a top speed of 210 km/h. However, these figures are for the version sold in the US. For the international variant, the power is reduced to 382 horsepower, the acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h is reduced to 5.9 seconds, and the top speed remains unchanged.
The impressive Audi SQ6 reaches a maximum power of 510 horsepower. With the additional power, this SUV only takes 4.2 seconds to reach 96 km/h from a standstill. The top speed is also improved to 230 km/h.
The Audi Q6 and SQ6 electric models are expected to be officially launched in Germany in the third quarter of this year, with prices starting from 74,700 euros (equivalent to 1.9 billion VND) for the Q6 model and increasing to 93,800 euros (equivalent to 2.4 billion VND) for the SQ6 model.
