Mr. Dang Le Nguyen Vu has a special passion for Ferrari supercars, especially gasoline-powered ones. Because of this, the Chairman of Trung Nguyen Corporation has built a fleet of dozens of “thoroughbred horses” of the latest versions. This business owner recently purchased a Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano after a 3-year hiatus, and not only that, as a collector of luxury cars, he also bought a Ferrari 360 Spider.

Prior to that, Mr. Dang Le Nguyen Vu had already acquired a Ferrari 360 Spider, interestingly, this car used to be his “old friend” for many years before being sold. Currently, “Qua” Vu owns 2 Ferrari 360 Spider supercars, and the remaining car has been repainted from red to yellow and then silver.

The Ferrari 360 Spider was introduced at the Geneva Motor Show in 2000 and quickly captivated car enthusiasts around the world with its beautiful and attractive design. The car is equipped with a convertible top that can be opened or closed in about 20 seconds with just a push of a button.

Moreover, Ferrari reinforced the door sills, strengthened the front floor panel, and redesigned the windshield frame. The rear bulkhead had to be strengthened to eliminate engine noise from the cabin. Passenger safety is ensured by the sturdy windshield and roll bars. Thanks to its lightweight all-aluminum structure, the Ferrari 360 Spider weighs only 60 kg more than the coupe version.

The Ferrari 360 Spider uses a 3.6-liter V8 engine like the Ferrari 360 Modena. This “heart” produces a maximum output of 395 horsepower at 8,500 rpm and a peak torque of 373 Nm at 4,750 rpm.

Paired with a 6-speed F1 gearbox, the engine in the Ferrari 360 Spider allows the convertible supercar to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.5 seconds before reaching a top speed of 288 km/h. It is worth noting that the Ferrari 360 Spider convertible has had its exhaust system customized by Capristo.
