The Mazda BT-50 pickup will use a EURO5 standard engine, upgraded safety system, and new colors. In particular, the safety system of the car has been significantly upgraded with adaptive cruise control at the full speed range including Stop & Go function, front object detection camera with 3D Imaging Stereo dual cameras, forward collision warning (FCW), automatic emergency braking (AEB), lane departure warning (LDW), manual speed limit also equipped for the first time, and pedal misapplication mitigation (PMM) system.
The car still has two engine options: the 1.9 VGS Turbo Diesel with a power of 150 horsepower and a torque of 150 Nm, and the other version is the 3.0 VGS Turbo Diesel with a power of 190 horsepower and a torque of 450 Nm. Both engine versions are available with either a 6-speed automatic or manual transmission and comply with EURO 5 emission standards.
The Mazda BT-50 2024 will have 6 versions with prices ranging from 752,000 to 1,272 million Bath (equivalent to about 520 to 880 million VND). In the Vietnamese market, this model always faces strong competition from the Ford Ranger, Mitsubishi Triton, and Nissan Navara, and its sales are always lagging behind.
