Honda City 2024 officially unveiled

Just before the Bangkok Motor Show 2024, Honda unveils an upgraded version of the City model with some changes to the exterior, equipment, and the addition of a new variant.

The Honda City 2024 won’t feature many changes in the exterior. The front and rear bumpers have been refined, and the grille has a new design. The alloy wheels also have a new design with two sizes: 15 and 16 inches. The size of the tires has been increased from 185/55 R16 to 185/60 R16. Additionally, the lighting system is equipped with automatic headlights.

On the inside, the interior will have the option of black leather upholstery with new red stitching. The cabin trim material will also feature metallic red accents, and some interior details will be chrome-plated. The information display behind the steering wheel is a 4.2-inch TFT, and the touch screen infotainment system will have a new 8-inch design with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support.

The Honda SENSING safety system will be available on all variants. Additionally, it will include a forward collision warning system (LCDN), auto lock when exiting the vehicle, remote engine start, and rear seat reminder. The 1.0 Turbo S variant will be the new entry-level variant with 15-inch alloy wheels, automatic halogen headlights, 4 speakers, standard interior with black fabric seats, manual seat adjustment, and single-zone air conditioning.

The Honda City 2024 will still be equipped with a 1.0 Turbo 3-cylinder engine producing 122 horsepower and 173 Nm of torque, paired with a CVT gearbox and front-wheel drive.

In the Thai market, the Honda City 2024 is available in 4 variants: S, V, SV, and RS, with prices starting from 599,000, 629,000, 679,000, and 749,000 Baht respectively (equivalent to 410 million, 430 million, 465 million, and 510 million Vietnamese Dong).
