In the Thai market, the Suzuki XL7 Hybrid 2024 has only 1 variant, which is the GLX AT, and the price has not been announced. Compared to the regular petrol version, this model has some notable changes in design, engine, and equipment.

First of all, we must mention the engine of the Suzuki XL7 Hybrid 2024. Similar to the car in Indonesia, this model is also equipped with a mild hybrid powertrain with a familiar 1.5L 4-cylinder petrol engine, integrated ISG starter generator, and a 10 Ah 12V lithium-ion battery. This powertrain produces a maximum power of 105 horsepower at 6,000 rpm and a maximum torque of 138 Nm at 4,400 rpm. The engine is paired with a 4-speed automatic transmission and front-wheel drive. According to Suzuki, the XL7 Hybrid consumes an average of 19.2 km/l (about 5.2 liters/100 km).

Next are the changes in the exterior of the car. This MPV model is supplemented with new exterior details such as a grille and chrome-plated strip, as well as a Hybrid logo on the rear trunk. In addition, the headlights have an additional automatic on/off and follow-me-home feature. The side mirrors of the car are equipped with an automatic folding feature when the door is locked.

The combination of beige exterior paint and a black roof is also a new feature of this MPV model. In addition, the car also has 5 other exterior colors: orange-black roof, pearl white-black roof, white-black roof, gray, black, and pearl white.

Inside the car, the Suzuki XL7 Hybrid 2024 in Thailand features a new instrument cluster with a 4.2-inch color screen in the middle, displaying information about battery capacity. In addition, the car also has a new 10.1-inch touchscreen in the center, supporting Apple CarPlay/Android Auto connectivity, and Cruise Control.

In addition to the aforementioned changes, the Suzuki XL7 Hybrid 2024 in Thailand still retains the interior and exterior equipment of the regular petrol version. Accordingly, the car is equipped with 16-inch alloy wheels, LED headlights, LED daytime running lights, front fog lights, LED taillights, power-adjustable/folding mirrors with turn signal, roof rails, and black wheel arch cladding.

The car’s interior equipment includes leather and fabric seats, 6-way manually adjustable driver’s seat, 4-way manually adjustable passenger seat, 2nd-row seats fold flat, 3-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel with 2-way adjustability, 3 12V power outlets, automatic air conditioning with display, rear vents for the 2nd-row seats, air filter, wireless phone charging, front dashcam, 6-speaker audio system, push-button start, and keyless entry.

As for safety features, the Suzuki XL7 Hybrid 2024 in Thailand does not have anything new, still featuring 2 front airbags, rearview camera, rear parking sensors, electronic stability control, hill start assist, and hill descent control.

According to the plan, the Suzuki XL7 Hybrid 2024 will be officially exhibited in Thailand at the Bangkok International Motor Show (BIMS) 2024 at the end of this month. After Thailand, this MPV model may be introduced in other Southeast Asian markets such as Vietnam. Currently, Suzuki is also distributing the Ertiga Hybrid in the Vietnamese market.
