The newly facelifted 2024 Toyota Corolla Cross was unveiled to the public at the Bangkok International Motor Show (BIMS) 2024, after its initial introduction in Thailand since early February 2024.

Regarding the exterior design, the changes of the 2024 facelift of the Toyota Corolla Cross are mainly focused on the front of the car with a thinner upper grille and a honeycomb pattern that looks quite similar to the Lexus RX.

In addition, the car also receives new headlights and sequential turn signals similar to the other versions of the Corolla Cross sold in other markets. Besides that, we can also see new 17 and 18-inch alloy wheel options.

Other notable exterior highlights include a panoramic sunroof, power tailgate with foot sensor. The taillights are also LED lights with a new design.

Inside the cabin, the 2024 facelift of the Toyota Corolla Cross receives several noteworthy upgrades. The car is equipped with a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, a larger 10.1-inch infotainment screen, and supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. Additionally, there are new seats with a bold red color.

The lighting system inside the cabin now uses LED lights and the top two variants have wireless charging capability and a panoramic sunroof.

One of the most valuable upgrades on the 2024 Corolla Cross is the addition of an electronic parking brake. This not only provides the car with an auto hold function but also provides the car with adaptive cruise control with stop and go functionality.

In addition, the car is also equipped with the Toyota Safety Sense driver assistance system, including automatic emergency braking, lane-keeping assist, and automatic headlights.

Other active safety features include electronic stability control, traction control, ABS brakes, EBD, brake assist, hill start assist, tire pressure monitoring, and 7 airbags.

Developed based on the TNGA platform, the Corolla Cross upgrade continues to be equipped with a naturally aspirated 1.8L gasoline engine on the regular internal combustion engine variant and is also part of the hybrid transmission.

Specifically, the internal combustion engine continues to be the 2ZR-FBE 1.8L type with a power of 140 horsepower and torque of 177 Nm on the base 1.8 Sport Plus variant, and the 2ZR-FXE 1.8L engine combined with an electric motor with a combined power of 122 horsepower on the hybrid variant.

In Thailand, the 2024 facelift of the Toyota Corolla Cross has 4 variants, including one internal combustion engine variant and three hybrid variants. Among them, the 1.8L Sport Plus variant is priced at 999,000 Baht (equivalent to 680 million VND), the HEV Premium variant is priced at 1,094,000 Baht (equivalent to 745 million VND), the HEV Premium Luxury variant is priced at 1,204,000 Baht (equivalent to 820 million VND), and the HEV GR Sport variant is priced at 1,254,000 Baht (equivalent to 853 million VND).
