The Isuzu D-Max EV Concept, although advertised as a concept model, closely resembles the commercial version. The overall appearance and design of the Isuzu D-Max EV Concept are reminiscent of the upgraded D-Max pickup truck that was launched late last year.
However, unlike the diesel-powered D-Max model, this electric-powered concept pickup truck features a closed front grille design and light blue accents, along with LED headlights. The vehicle is also equipped with alloy wheels and unique decals to highlight its emission-free characteristics.
The electric powertrain in the D-Max EV Concept delivers 177 PS of power and a maximum torque of 325 Nm. While the turbo-diesel 3.0L engine delivers a more powerful output of 190 PS and 450 Nm of torque, it’s important to note that the electric D-Max model has instant acceleration capabilities thanks to its electric motor. The vehicle is equipped with a 66.9 kWh lithium-ion battery pack, along with full-time 4WD and an “eAxle” differential.
