The upgraded version of the Hyundai Stargazer will be available in a 6-seater variant and will also feature a new 7-seater variant, along with some additional enhancements. In particular, the Bose 8-speaker sound system will receive the most notable upgrade. Furthermore, the car will come in two additional colors, Gravity Gold Matte and Optic White Matte.
The Hyundai Stargazer still utilizes the 1.5L SmartStream engine with a power output of 115 horsepower and a torque of 144 Nm, paired with a CVT gearbox and front-wheel drive. In Thailand, the Stargazer is equipped with LED headlights, daytime running lights, and taillights, as well as fog lights positioned below, with the wheel arches still in black plastic.
On the inside, the car is fitted with black leather upholstery, an Apple CarPlay/Android Auto compatible infotainment system, an LCD display behind the steering wheel, automatic climate control, interior ambient lighting, push-button start with a smart key. The seats are wrapped in red-trimmed leather, and the second-row seats of the 7-seater variant are foldable in a 60:40 split, while the third-row seats fold in a 50:50 split.
In terms of safety features, the 2024 Stargazer is equipped with the standard Hyundai SmartSense system for both variants, including forward collision warning and automatic emergency braking, lane keeping assist, blind-spot collision warning and assist, rear cross-traffic collision warning and automatic braking, driver attention warning, automatic headlights, door warning, fatigue warning for the driver, 6 airbags, and a rearview camera.
The price of the car will be announced at the 2024 Bangkok Motor Show, which will take place next week.
