The highly anticipated Toyota Corolla Cross 2024 is set to debut at the Bangkok Motor Show and is expected to arrive in Vietnam soon.

The exterior tweaks of the Toyota Corolla Cross 2024 facelift for the Southeast Asian market are quite similar to the Corolla Cross sold in other markets.

One of the changes includes a redesigned full-LED headlights that are similar to the versions for the European and Japanese markets. The difference is that the car has a thinner upper grille with honeycomb patterns that resembles the Lexus RX.

In addition, the car also receives new headlights and sequential turn signals similar to the versions of the Corolla Cross sold in other markets.

Other notable exterior highlights include panoramic sunroof, power tailgate with foot sensor. The rear lights are also new LED lights.

The HEV Premium variant and above will receive 18-inch two-tone alloy wheels wrapped in 225/50R18 tires, while the GR Sport uses tires of the same size but with a different alloy wheel design.

Developed on the TNGA platform, the Corolla Cross facelift continues to be equipped with a naturally aspirated 1.8L gasoline engine on the regular internal combustion engine version and also part of the hybrid powertrain.

Specifically, the regular internal combustion engine is still the 2ZR-FBE 1.8L type with 140 horsepower and 177 Nm of torque on the base 1.8 Sport Plus variant, and the 2ZR-FXE 1.8L engine with 122 horsepower for the remaining three hybrid variants.

For active safety equipment, the base 1.8 Sport Plus variant has blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert, while the HEV Luxury variant is equipped with the Toyota Safety Sense system which includes forward collision warning, adaptive cruise control at all speeds, lane departure warning, lane-keeping assist, and automatic headlights. The HEV Premium Luxury and HEV GR Sport versions receive parking assist function.

Other active safety equipment includes electronic stability control, traction control, ABS braking system, EBD, brake assist, hill start assist, tire pressure monitoring, and 7 airbags.

Notable upgrades for the interior cabin include electronic parking brake with automatic hold function. The HEV Premium Luxury variant and above are equipped with a 12.3-inch digital display, and all variants have a 10.1-inch touchscreen that supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity.

The Corolla Cross facelift is equipped with black or red leather seats. The cabin lighting system now uses LED lights, and the top two variants have wireless charging and panoramic sunroof features.
