The Hyundai Santa Fe NHL Edition is a Canada-exclusive trim level, based on the range-topping Ultimate Calligraphy variant. The 2024 Santa Fe NHL Edition is finished in an exclusive matte “Creamy White” paint and contrasting 20-inch black multi-spoke wheels.
The SUV also features custom Luxwood door sill plates, WeatherTech floor mats, and a cargo liner to protect from the salt and snow of a Canadian winter. Owners will also have their favorite hockey team’s logo embroidered on the front floor mats.
Every Santa Fe NHL Edition will come with an autographed jersey from top hockey prospect Connor Bedard. The company will also donate $500 to the Chicago Blackhawks Charities for every special edition sold, in order to help “create a healthier, smarter, safer world for local children and families.”
Like the Ultimate Calligraphy, the Santa Fe NHL Edition will feature standard dual wireless charging, USB-C ports, and an optional UV-C sanitizer for cleaning items like phones, wallets, and glasses. The model also comes with a 12-speaker Bose sound system and a Pecan Brown interior.
Power comes from the standard hybrid powertrain based around a turbocharged 1.6-liter engine, which produces a combined 232 horsepower (173 kilowatts) and 268 pound-feet (367 Newton-meters) of torque. This is another point of difference from the Santa Fe NHL Edition, as all other Ultimate Calligraphy variants of the Santa Fe come with a turbocharged 2.5-liter engine, producing 277 hp (207 kW) and 311 lb-ft (422 Nm) of torque.
