Even base-model Rolls-Royces like the Ghost sedan start at around $350,000. But those look downright affordable next to the Droptail convertible, which reportedly goes for more than $30 million.

Just four examples of the exquisite Rolls-Royce Droptail roadster will be built worldwide, and each is custom-designed to the wealthy client’s whims. And Rolls Royce has just revealed the third in the series. Whereas the previous Amethyst Droptail was awash in a subtle shade of purple and the La Rose Noire paid homage to the black rose, the latest Arcadia Droptail features a serene white paint job accented by warm, earthy wood trim.

Rolls-Royce created a unique white hue for the Arcadia’s exterior. Its paint contains aluminum and glass flakes which make the body sparkle in the light. Unlike previous Droptails, which featured exposed carbon fiber accents, those pieces are painted a bespoke silver on this example. As with the other roadsters, a curved wood panel forms the rear decklid for a luxurious, nautical feel.

Much of the Arcadia’s interior is swathed in a unique shade of white inspired by the exterior paint, offset by bespoke brown for the outer portions of the seats and headrests. Wood surrounds the cabin, from the dashboard to the door panels to the curved piece that juts out behind the seats. In total, Rolls-Royce spent 8000 hours crafting and fitting the wood inside.

The Rolls-Royce design team also spent more than two years developing and five months assembling the clock for the dashboard. The face of the timepiece features 119 individual facets, while the RR logo is rendered in stainless steel. The hour markers are hand-painted with such precision that the technician needed a magnifying camera to complete the job.

Though the Droptails are more about luxury and exclusivity than performance, Rolls-Royce doesn’t skimp on the powertrain. For those who care, the Arcadia roadster is powered by a twin-turbocharged 6.6-liter V12 making 593 horsepower and 620 pound-feet of torque.

This ultra-exclusive Arcadia Droptail has already been delivered to its owner in Singapore.
