The models in the C-Class range are currently reduced to a range of 1.388-1.888 billion, equivalent to a reduction of 210-260 million VND depending on the version. For Mercedes-Benz E, the model is reduced by about 270-320 million, down to 1.888- 2.888 billion.

Mercedes-Benz is also discounting 3 versions of the GLE, a 7-seater luxury SUV from the company, in this promotion period. All 3 versions are reduced by 669 million, bringing the price of the model to a range of 3.889-3.999 billion.

Specifically in this announcement period, Mercedes-Benz Vietnam also put the AMG high-performance product line of the company into the promotion list. This is a rare occasion that these models are offered with incentives by the German manufacturer.

Specifically, the AMG A 35 4MATIC (V1) is reduced from 2.429 billion to about 1.999 billion. The GLB 35 4MATIC model is also reduced by 620 billion compared to the listed price of 2.849 billion.

The AMG version with the coupe-like design of the Mercedes-Benz GLE-Class was announced to be officially sold in the Vietnamese market in April 2021, and is now reduced by 560 million in this promotion period. Thus, after being offered with incentives, the rival of the BMW X6 or Audi Q8 now only costs about 5.188 billion.

The car that Mercedes applied the highest discount in this promotion period is the GT 53 4MATIC Couple FL, equivalent to 719 million VND. After being offered with incentives, the price of this sports coupe ranges from 5.999 billion.

However, most of the models in the list of preferential treatment are imported cars with limited quantity, some of which almost run out of colors and versions in stock.

The promotion of VIN 2022 cars shows a fluctuating year of the Vietnamese car market, including luxury car models. The weak demand for luxury cars in the context of general difficulties forces sellers to offer great incentive programs in the new year to stimulate customer spending as well as clear stock to bring in new products.

With the price race starting strongly right from the first months of the year, the car market is forecasted to witness many stronger chases in terms of sales in both urban and luxury car groups.
