Amidst the positive momentum in Vietnam’s automotive market, the SUV A segment also experienced a surge in sales during March 2024. All members of this segment improved their sales, with Toyota Raize recording the highest growth rate.

Kia Sonet: 751 Units
Kia Sonet has become the preferred choice for Vietnamese customers seeking a SUV A. In March 2024, Kia sold 751 units of Sonet, representing a 75.4% increase.
Kia Sonet leads the SUV A segment and has also ranked among the top 10 best-selling cars in the overall market for March.
Factors contributing to its popularity include its stylish exterior design, rich features within the segment, and competitive price ranging from 519 to 574 million VND for three variants.

Compared to its rivals, Toyota Raize achieved an even higher sales growth rate of 116.5%. This resulted in 392 units sold in March, securing its position as the second best-seller in the SUV A segment.
Toyota Raize is currently the most affordable SUV A with a price tag of only 498 million VND. However, unlike its competitors, it only comes in one variant, limiting customer choices.

Similar to the previous month, Hyundai Venue continued to rank last in the SUV A segment in terms of sales. Specifically, 264 units were sold in March, representing a 79.5% growth but still lagging behind its sister model, Kia Sonet.
Launched in Vietnam in December 2023, Hyundai Venue comes in two variants with prices ranging from 539 to 579 million VND, comparable to Kia Sonet. It impresses with its eye-catching design and features that are not too modest.
