Mazda CX-5 price incentives for April 2024 (in million VND)
As a result, the Mazda CX-5’s price range is now between 749 and 979 million VND. At this price point, the Mazda’s midsize SUV not only threatens segment rivals such as the Ford Territory, Hyundai Tucson, and Honda CR-V but also has the potential to poach customers from the segment below. The base variant of the Mazda CX-5 is priced at 749 million VND, which is only 10 million VND more than the top-of-the-line variant of the Kia Seltos (739 million VND) and less expensive than the Toyota Yaris Cross (765 million VND) or the Honda HR-V (871 million VND).
The Mazda CX-5 is not the only midsize SUV to receive price incentives in April 2024. Hyundai has previously reduced the sticker price of the Tucson to between 769 and 919 million VND. The Ford Territory is now available for a special price of 799 to 929 million VND.
Mazda CX-5 price starts at 749 million VND, increasing pressure on rivals
The Mazda CX-5 received a facelift in July 2023 and quickly became popular due to its competitive pricing. Since then, the model has consistently performed well in terms of sales. In 2023, the Mazda CX-5 was the best-selling compact SUV in Vietnam. In the first two months of 2024, the model sold a total of 1,407 units, far outpacing competitors such as the Ford Territory (610 units) and the Honda CR-V (431 units).
Aside from its budget-friendly price tag, the Mazda CX-5 has also gained popularity among Vietnamese consumers due to its stylish design and relatively comprehensive safety and convenience features. Some of the vehicle’s notable features include LED headlights, LED daytime running lights, 19-inch wheels, a power liftgate, leather upholstery, 10-way power driver’s seat, an 8-inch infotainment display, a 10-speaker Bose audio system, dual-zone automatic climate control, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, lane departure warning, lane-keeping assist, adaptive cruise control, smart brake support, 360-degree camera, and active parking assist.
Under the hood of the Mazda CX-5 are two engine options. The first is a 2.0L four-cylinder SkyActiv-G gasoline engine producing 154 horsepower and 200 Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a six-speed automatic transmission and front-wheel drive.
The second option is a 2.5L four-cylinder Skyactiv-G gasoline engine producing 188 horsepower and 252 Nm of torque. The engine is paired with a six-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive (AWD).
