On April 12th, 2024, VinFast Auto announced the launch of its VF DrgnFly electric bicycle in the US market from the end of this month with a listed price of $2,599, equivalent to VND 65 million. This is the electric bicycle model that was first introduced at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2024 in January of this year.
The VF DrgnFly has an impressive appearance, inspired by the image of a mythical dragon flying in Vietnamese culture. The bike has an extended handlebar, large tires, and an ergonomically designed saddle to optimize the riding experience for users.
In addition, the VF DrgnFly has a flat frame instead of a tube frame. This is a unique design, requiring complex manufacturing techniques to create a highlight for the product while maintaining an optimal balance between weight and durability.

Most importantly, the ability to update software via Wifi (OTA), helps this model to be constantly optimized.
The VF DrgnFly uses a 750W motor integrated into the rear wheel, a single-speed gearbox along with a torque sensor. Thanks to that, the bike can reach a maximum speed of 28 mph (about 45 km/h). The bike’s torque sensor adapts to every movement, detecting force changes up to 16,000 times/second.
After each full charge, the VF DrgnFly electric bicycle has a range of up to 68 miles (110 km). With an energy-optimized system, the bike helps users travel longer distances with multiple driving modes.
