Fresh shots of the Cadillac Optiq have surfaced from China ahead of its official debut at the Beijing Auto Show this month, and the latest batch gives us our first glimpse at the electric crossover’s cabin.
Much like the Cadillac Lyriq, the Optiq’s interior features a large curved display that combines the infotainment screen and digital instrument cluster. Below the screen, you’ll find slim air conditioning vents and a row of physical buttons for climate control. The steering wheel and gear selector also appear to be identical to those in the Lyriq.
The similarities continue with the center console, which features a pair of cupholders and a rotary drive mode selector. Cadillac has redesigned the center armrest, though, making it slightly smaller. There’s also an open storage cubby below the climate controls, in contrast to the Lyriq’s covered bin.
The 2025 Cadillac Optiq is based on the same BEV3 platform that underpins the Chevrolet Equinox EV and Buick Electra. In terms of exterior dimensions, the 2025 Cadillac Optiq measures 4,821 mm long with a 2,954-mm wheelbase.
The Cadillac Optiq will be offered with both single-motor and dual-motor electric powertrains. The single-motor version is expected to offer around 201 horsepower and 241 pound-feet of torque, while the dual-motor, all-wheel-drive variant could produce as much as 283 hp.
After its debut in China, the 2025 Cadillac Optiq is expected to go on sale in the United States later this year. Pricing has yet to be announced, but expect the crossover to slot between the $34,995 Equinox and the $57,195 Lyriq.
